Peptivist
Terms of use
The agreement between you and Opsgrip LLC for using Peptivist. Plain language, because you should be able to read it. It includes an arbitration agreement and a class-action waiver that affect how disputes are resolved — you can opt out of them within 30 days, and both are set out in full below.

What Peptivist is
Peptivist is a record-keeping tool. You tell it what you take and when; it shows you what is due, what you have on hand, and what you have logged. It keeps records for more than one person, and lets you give somebody else access to the records you choose.
It is not a medical device and it is not a source of medical advice. It does not recommend anything, does not tell you what to take or how much, and performs no dose arithmetic of any kind — it cannot convert a syringe mark into a quantity, work out a concentration, or suggest a dose. Every number in the app is one a person typed. That is a deliberate design constraint, not a missing feature, and it will not be added.
What you are responsible for
You are responsible for what you take, for what you record, and for what you do with what the app shows you. Peptivist will faithfully repeat back a schedule you entered wrongly.
Many of the substances people track in this app are not approved by the FDA for human use. Peptivist takes no position on whether you should use anything, and recording something here is not an endorsement of it by us. Talk to a clinician. If you are having a medical emergency, contact emergency services — not this app, and not our support address.
You must be 18 or over. The app asks, and your answer is a representation you are making to us. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18 we will close it and delete its data; if you know of one, tell us.
Your account
Sign-in is a numeric code sent to your email address, so your email account is your credential. Anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. Keep it secure, and tell us if you believe somebody else has reached your account.
One account is for one person. Do not share your sign-in code — the app has a proper way to give somebody else access to a profile, and it is better in every respect than handing over your login.
Records you keep for other people
Peptivist lets you keep a profile for somebody else — a partner, a parent, somebody who will never install the app. That is your responsibility, not ours. You are telling us you have that person’s agreement to hold their health information, and you must have it.
If that person later takes the profile as their own account, it becomes theirs: their record, their control, and you keep only whatever access they choose to grant you. We will not take a claimed profile away from the person it belongs to, and we will not hand somebody else’s records to you because you created the profile.
Access you grant, and access you take away
When you grant access to a profile you choose the areas — schedule, inventory, logs, lab results and photographs, and the change history — separately.
You can revoke access at any time, immediately, without their approval and without notifying them. This is a safety feature and we will not add an approval step, a delay or a notification to it. Note that a person who could see something while they had access may have already read or copied it; revoking stops future access, and cannot unsee what was seen.
Your records belong to you
What you put in Peptivist is yours. You give us permission to store and display it so the app can work, and to show it to the people you grant access to. That is the whole of the licence: we do not use your records for anything else, we do not sell them, and we never use health data for advertising. See the privacy policy.
You can export everything and delete everything yourself, on any plan, free. More → Settings. Neither is ever behind the paywall.
Free and paid
Free, for you. Every feature of Peptivist is free for one person: schedules, reminders, inventory, orders, the journal, sharing, the change history, export and deletion. There is no limit on how much you record. The free plan covers one person — you.
Peptivist Together covers up to six people — you and the people you keep track of — for $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year, with a 14-day free trial on your first subscription. Cancel during the trial and you are not charged. It is the only feature we sell. Current prices are always the ones shown in the app and in the store at the moment you buy.
Founding Member is an optional yearly membership at a price you choose, from $4.99 to $249.99. It is a way to support the app, and you already have every feature without it. Members receive a priority support address, early access to new builds, a badge and a colour theme, and may choose to be named in the credits. It renews yearly until you cancel.
Tips are optional one-time payments of $2.99 to $99.99. They buy nothing and we cannot refund them; the store may.
Apple and Google handle the money
Everything above is bought through the App Store or Google Play. We never see your card. Their terms govern the transaction, including renewals and refunds.
They renew automatically
Until you cancel. Cancel through the store — there is no cancel button in the app because we do not own the subscription and a button that could not actually cancel would be a lie. Apple and Google need the cancellation at least 24 hours before the renewal date; cancel later than that and the next period is still charged. See support for where the button is.
Refunds come from the store
We cannot issue one. Ask Apple or Google.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription
They are separate systems and deleting your data here cannot reach your billing. Cancel it, or you will keep being charged.
Free for one stays free
A feature that is free for one person will not be moved behind a paywall later. New things we build for tracking more than one person may be part of Peptivist Together; what one person can do for free today stays free.
Nothing you record affects a price
And no membership perk reads your records. A Founding Member perk gives access to nobody else’s records, and cannot.
We do not sell anything you track
Opsgrip does not manufacture, sell, source, ship, recommend or endorse any compound, supplement or product. There is no vendor directory and there are no affiliate links. A vendor name in the app is one you typed, and a review you write is a private note to yourself and the people you share with. Recording something in Peptivist is not an endorsement of it by us, and nothing in the app is an offer to supply it. In Community’s #vendors channel, members may share vendor links, prices and discount codes; those are members’ posts, not ours, and we do not check, vouch for or profit from any of them.
What you may not do
- Use Peptivist to keep records about somebody who has not agreed to it.
- Try to reach records you have not been granted, or work around the access controls.
- Break, overload, or automatically scrape the service.
- Use it to sell, advertise, or distribute anything, or to publish a directory of vendors. Vendors you save are private to you and stay that way. The one exception is sharing vendor links, prices and codes in Community’s #vendors channel; selling to other members is not allowed anywhere, #vendors included.
- Use it where doing so would break the law where you are.
- Use it to arrange the sale or distribution of anything, or to claim that a Founding Member perk gives access to anyone else’s records. It does not, and cannot.
Peptivist Community
Community is the optional chat and forum area inside Peptivist. It is for adults (18 and over) and you join it separately, with a username. Your username is the only thing other members see — never your email address and never your Peptivist records. There are no private messages between members; Admin Help is a private line between you and the Community admins only.
The house rules
No sourcing outside #vendors (shop links, prices, codes, invitations to other chats, or “message me”); no selling to other members anywhere; nobody tells anyone what or how much to take; be civil; and do not post anything that identifies you or someone else, including faces and addresses. Nothing in Community is medical advice, whoever posts it, admins included.
What you post
You keep ownership of what you post. You give Opsgrip permission to store it and show it to other members, and, in a channel the owner has chosen to show on peptivist.com, to show it there too, read-only, under your username. You are responsible for what you post, and you must have the right to post it.
Moderation
The Community owner and the admins she appoints can remove posts, hold posts for approval, time people out, and ban people from Community. Messages that three different members report are hidden until an admin looks. A ban or timeout affects Community only: your Peptivist records, sharing and subscription are untouched, and admins cannot see your records. Decisions are made in good faith and are final within Community; if you think one was a mistake, write to peptivistsupport@opsgrip.com.
Other members and vendors
Members are not Opsgrip. We do not check what they say, and anything a member or a vendor offers is between you and them. Opsgrip is not a party to it and is not responsible for it.
GIFs
GIF search is provided by GIPHY. GIFs you choose are shown from GIPHY’s servers.
If you delete your account, your Community messages, files and Admin Help thread are deleted with it, and forum posts you started are blanked (the replies other people wrote under them stay).
Availability, and what we do not promise
We try to keep Peptivist running and correct, and we do not promise it always will be. It is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a reminder will always arrive — reminders are scheduled by your phone and both Apple and Google will silently drop them past a limit.
Do not use Peptivist as your only record of something that matters. Export is free, always available, and exists for exactly this reason.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Opsgrip LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Peptivist — including any health outcome, which depends on decisions that are yours and your clinician’s, not the app’s — and our total liability is limited to the greater of what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case they do not apply to you.
If we disagree — read this, it affects your rights
Talk to us first. Most problems are a misunderstanding and we would rather fix one than argue about it. Before starting any formal proceeding, email peptivistsupport@opsgrip.com describing the problem and what you want, and give us 60 days to sort it out. That goes both ways — we will do the same before bringing anything against you.
If that does not work, disputes are resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, and you and Opsgrip each give up the right to a jury trial and the right to take part in a class action. This is the part worth reading twice.
Who runs it
The American Arbitration Association, under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before one arbitrator. The arbitrator decides the same things a judge could, and their decision can be entered as a judgment in any court.
Where
You choose: the county where you live, Nebraska, or remotely by phone or video. You will not be made to travel to argue about a subscription.
Who pays
For any claim under $10,000, we pay the AAA filing and arbitrator fees unless the arbitrator finds the claim was frivolous. Each side otherwise pays its own costs, except where the law says otherwise.
Small claims still works
Either of us may bring an individual claim in small-claims court instead, if it qualifies. Nothing here stops you.
Individually, not as a class
Claims are brought only in your own name. No class actions, no class arbitrations, no representative or private-attorney-general proceedings, and the arbitrator may not consolidate anyone else’s claim with yours. If this paragraph is found unenforceable for a particular claim, then that claim — and only that claim — leaves arbitration entirely and goes to court.
You can opt out, and it costs you nothing
Email peptivistsupport@opsgrip.com with the subject “Arbitration opt-out”, from the address on your account, within 30 days of first accepting these terms. That is all it takes. Opting out affects nothing else in this agreement and we will not treat you differently for it.
This section survives after you stop using Peptivist or delete your account. Nothing in it stops either of us asking a court for an injunction to stop misuse of the service or of intellectual property.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Anything not resolved by arbitration under the section above goes to the state or federal courts located in Nebraska, and we each consent to those courts. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protections of the mandatory law where you live — if your home jurisdiction gives you a right that cannot be waived by agreement, you keep it.
Ending it
You can stop using Peptivist whenever you like and delete your account from inside the app. Cancel your subscription separately, in the store.
We may suspend or close an account that is being used in a way that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to export your records first.
Changes, and how to reach us
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top, and if a change is material we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Peptivist after that is how you accept the change.
